One of my favorite days of the year, Pumpkin Patch + winery day with the neighborhood friends. Liam wasted no time in filling up the wagon, but all said in done, 1 large pumpkin, 2 medium sized pumpkins and 7 little gourd for $20. Not so bad. I'm just not looking forward to all the carving work ahead though. My little buddy was kind of in a rotten mood about taking photographs so Keegan tickled me in the armpits to get him to giggle ;) Whatever works.

Day 293
This guy looks plastic, but he is real!! He lives at the California Academy of Sciences . . . an Albino Alligator. Usually he's chillin out in the water but this day, he was all sprawled out looking oh so picture perfect for us.

Ooops.....lost track of the days there. Forgot Sunday's photo of the day....home at last. Liam the dashing frequent flier at SFO baggage claim.

Day 284
Liam and I flew back East to meet Keegan and his family for a wedding weekend. We stayed in the lovely town of Mystic, CT, home of famous Mystic Pizza. Keegan and I always joke about how whenever we travel, we always come home and go through a month long phase of wanting to move wherever it was we were visiting. This trip was NO different. I am hooked. I was looking at real estate websites the second day we were there. Mystic may or may not be the exact town, but completely exemplary of the kind of town in which we would love to ultimately end up....small, quaint, charming, beautiful, old, full of character, main street with good bars and restaurants, houses with huge front porches and rolling landscape. *Sigh* Maybe someday....

Day 283
There is something just so perfectly beautiful and vulnerable about little boy, quiet, concentrating, in his undies of course. These mundane moments are so priceless really.
Day 282
Aptly named, "Rain," by Liam. It was this kind of day today as well so I couldn't believe how perfectly this expressed the sentiment! And this was no ordinary scribbling by the way. Liam very carefully chose his media, graphite and blue marker and spent about 20 minutes completing the pair.

Day 281
Liam and I had the pleasure of joining friends, Christine and Patrick, for a little lunch and a romp round Menlo Park this afternoon. Liam ever so politely invited himself back to their place, but quickly determined the toy situation was somewhat lacking. Christine and Patrick got their wits about them and before we knew it we had 2 huge punch balloons and a remote control helicopter, which is all this kid needed to make himself quite at home for the rest of the afternoon. Thanks guys (I know you are reading!!). It was so fun to just hang and relax in your backyard. Liam was smitten with you both. When the time is right, you'll make awesome parents!! :)
Day 280
Brothers, playmates, often enemies, competitors of bed space, but when it is all said and done, the best of pals.
Day 279
Liam and I had a nice "Mommy Day" today . . . took the ferry over the bay into SF and walked around for a bit. It also happened to be Fleet Week as well so we had the added bonus of being able to watch the Blue Angels practice. We took the Ferry back home with all the commuters . . . what an amazing way to commute . . . little boat ride with a view of Golden Gate Bridge and a beer in one hand. Um, yes please.
Day 278
This tree down the street from us, and the other 2 that are right next to it in a row, always cracks me up . . . like something out of a Dr. Seuss book or something!

Day 274
Keegan and Liam have been bonding so beautiful lately. Keegan picked up the slack for me big time this weekend with my 10 hour wedding day on Saturday and exhaustion quickly setting in on Sunday. I think it pays him well as you can see.
Day 273
I had been looking forward to this wedding all season and can't believe it's come and gone already. These two are just the sweetest, cutest bride and groom and I had a blast! Wedding season - done. Now, it's time to fix the ACL.
Day 272
Sometimes, when I wait until the last possible minute to take photo of the day, it yields some pretty interesting results. If Architecture School taught me anything at all, it is to work well under pressure :)
