Day 201
How fun does this look?! Why didn't THESE exist when I was a kid?! Tinker Toys? Pishaw :) They installed this Splash Park within walking distance of our house last Fall. We finally got around to having nice enough weather and perfect timing in our own routined schedule to make it down. Liam was tentative at first, content to watch from a safe and very dry distance. I realized pretty quickly that if I didn't go in, he wouldn't. Frustrating given I was having a perfect, straight from the salon (literally), hair day. But once I ruined my hair and took one for the team, Liam had a total blast and we were the last ones there, closing the place up.
Day 199
Spain and vacation in general was spectacular, of course, but leaving this little guy was super duper difficult. Enjoyed my first day back with him, cuddling, bonding, playing. He hasn't really let me out of his sight since I returned :) I particularly love playing tinker toys with him. This was my set that I just about wore out when I was a kid. I have wanted to get Liam a set for a while now, but I heard they aren't made as well anymore. Good old Mom. One text later, I had determined that she had saved mine, was only a few pieces short of the 150 piece count, and yes, she would mail them right away :) At any rate, he has become quite the skilled Tinker Toy Builder over the past few weeks.
Day 189-Day 198
I'll come back to these. Just trying to get caught up on a day to day basis. Photo of the day Espana style to be continued ...
Day 188
The day before we left for Spain, I took my kitty into the vet because he had been ferociously grooming himself around the clock and biting his skin and such. Worst nightmare: turned out he had fleas. Argh. My poor mother-in-law who was staying with us to watch Liam. I felt so bad leaving her literally in a flea bag motel. What a gracious host right?! This picture makes me so sad though. Sterile setting, scared kitty, captured perfectly.
Day 187
Before we left for Spain, my brother and sister-in-law were in town for a wine tasting tour of Napa. Liam and I took full advantage of their location and spent the afternoon with them on their private deck overlooking the valley for drinks, chatting, and dinner. Caught this as the light was dwindling on our drive home.

Day 186
I cannot believe how big he is getting. I feel like he is sprouting up like my garden with all the sun and rain we had in June. Last week, he got a big boy haircut which holds some gel quite nicely :) and today I made him put on some respectable clothing as his aunt and uncle were in town this afternoon. Couldn't resist capturing him at this stage. Something about the way those long lanky legs stick out of the shorts that just makes him look so grown and so boy.
Day 181
Keegan and I celebrated our tenth anniversary this evening. I spent the week putting together a book of all the things I've ever saved over the years, mostly from the years of our "courtship" in college, our engagement, and our wedding. I had letters on top of letters we had written each other in college, ticket stubs, receipts, etc. It helped me to reflect on our relationship, how it began, how it has changed, how it continues. We've truly grown up together over the years, because really, we are all just babies in college :) We've confronted challenges, job changes, city changes, life changes and changes in ourselves. Through it all, our relationship, our marriage, our love, has remained UNchanged. Keegan IS my true love story.
